        With the tests complete, we take a look at the main technical features introduced by MotoGP teams. &nbsp;Considering that the regulation prevents any engine modifications, manufacturers have focused on the aerodynamics and, in some cases, the frame. Ducati   If we&rsquo;re talking aerodynamics, we have to start with Ducati. The Italian manufacturer was out on track in Qatar with a new aerodynamics package, comprising winglets on the upper and lower part of the fairing. Standing out on the new design are profiles that serve to &ldquo;reorganise&rsquo; the air flow hitting the bike, directing it downwards to create real downforce without increasing the drag. Channeled in this way, the air should accelerate low down, increasing bike &lsquo;compression&rsquo; on the ground. The new fairing is experimental and may or may not be used during the season. The GP21 also features a second holeshot, mounted on the front section and providing benefits off the line. The new device lowers the bike&rsquo;s centre of gravity, increasing front load when making a standing start. Honda   Honda has also worked on the aerodynamics. Together with Stefan Bradl, the Tokyo-based manufacturer has tested a new front design with less flashy winglets and additional air vents to better cleave the air. Work on the frame is ongoing, with comparisons being made between the 2020 and 2021 versions. The team has also tested a new swingarm with larger air vent to channel flow towards the rear wheel. Yamaha   Yamaha is not resting on its laurels either. The Japanese manufacturer has carried out meticulous aerodynamics work, starting with a new front mudguard seen on Fabio Quartararo&rsquo;s Yamaha, complete with large surface opening and slimmer in shape. A solution already tested by KTM and that helps improve front tyre cooling as well as ensure more air reaches the radiator. The same goes for the covers that conceal the fork stanchions: the air is cleaned and channelled towards the radiator, better cooling the engine. Small aerodynamic details that can help boost engine performance and top speed. Aprilia   Aprilia and KTM have completed similar work. In Noale they&rsquo;ve worked on a front section that has a larger winged surface, with the aim of creating greater aerodynamic load, although there&rsquo;s a risk that the bike will be less agile when changing direction. We also spotted a new carbon swingarm at Losail. A package that sees set-up focused on the front to improve performance out of the turns and when braking. KTM  &nbsp; The Austrian RC16 was on track at Losail with what looked like a more compact fairing. We also noted a moulding complete with &lsquo;sharks teeth&rsquo; which is tasked with &lsquo;cleaning&rsquo; the fillets of vortexes that can arise when the air "comes away from&rdquo; the surfaces of the fairing. Dani Pedrosa also tested a larger mudguard and an updated frame. Suzuki   No major new features in the world champion&rsquo;s garage. Joan Mir tested a new aluminium swingarm, while Alex Rins concentrated on the electronics. Suzuki tested the 2022 configuration of its engine at Losail, both riders commenting that it offers that extra dash of power that the Hamamatsu bikes require. The MotoGP pre-season tests allow riders to test new parts designed and created over the winter by the manufacturers but also new elements that could prove useful over the course of the season. These include technical parts and all riders at the Losail track have been able to make use of a new disc by Brembo, which will once again supply all teams in the top class this year.  Important new features   This is a new generation of front disc, modified in terms of its cooling. The new carbon disc, 340 mm in diameter, is designed to encourage better heat exchange between the braking system parts so as to better control peaks in temperature, which should never exceed the safety threshold of 800 degrees.&nbsp;  This new option has been designed particularly for circuits at which the braking systems may suffer, also considering the weather conditions, so tracks like Spielberg and the three Asian tracks of Sepang (Malaysia), Motegi (Japan) and Buriram (Thailand).         &ldquo;Today was a better day&rdquo; starts Valentino Rossi, who appears a lot more relaxed than the last time we saw him, or rather two days ago, at the end of the previous test session. This second outing, again at the Losail circuit, has got off to a more positive start for the nine-time champion, who places thirteenth with a best of 1&rsquo;54.618. In detail  The 42-year old has good sensations with his Yamaha M1 and explains: &ldquo;I&rsquo;ve improved my pace, my feeling with the bike and my lap times. I&rsquo;ve worked hard with the team and am pleased with what we&rsquo;ve done. We&rsquo;re not at the top, but I&rsquo;m closer. The leading two (Miller and Quartararo) completed an impressive time attack, Vinales too&rdquo;. As for the day&rsquo;s work: &ldquo;I&rsquo;ve tested new parts, some aerodynamic elements and we&rsquo;ve continued to compare the two frames. Everyone was strong, I&rsquo;m lacking a little something but it&rsquo;s only day one&rdquo;. The frame has won him over  While his feedback wasn&rsquo;t immediately positive during the previous sessions, the Italian has now changed his opinion: &ldquo;The new frame is better than the previous one, it turns better. It doesn&rsquo;t give me the same feeling as the 2019 version but it&rsquo;s close&rdquo;. Rossi also talks positively about top speed: &ldquo;We&rsquo;ve upped it. We&rsquo;re still 10 km/h from the Ducati but we&rsquo;ve improved. I&rsquo;ve had fun and was strong. The problem is that everyone&rsquo;s pushing like crazy and there&rsquo;s still work to do, but it&rsquo;s going a lot better&rdquo;. Jack Miller topped the timesheets, the Doctor commenting: &ldquo;This Ducati is insane, it&rsquo;s very fast and I think Jack is one of the title contenders&rdquo;. MotoGP like F1  The bikes involve an increasing level of aerodynamics and it&rsquo;s easy to draw a comparison with the four-wheeled championship, Valentino going as far as to admit: &ldquo;MotoGP is the F1 of bikes. It&rsquo;s great that the bikes are sophisticated, in their aerodynamics and electronics, because we have to be the best. The best bikes and the best riders. The level is very high&rdquo;. And as for the spectacle, he has no doubts: &ldquo;The important thing is that the races are still spectacular, this is the strength of MotoGP.
