The Spaniard has had a third surgery on his right arm after yesterday’s consultation with doctors at Madrid hospital. According to Spanish media, he won’t be back on track before May
Eight hours. That’s how long it took to surgically resolve the complications relating to Marc Marquez’s right arm after his previous operations. Spanish media source Antena3 reported the news, also providing an estimate as to recovery times.
Yesterday morning, the Spaniard was at the Clinica Ruber Internacional in Madrid for a consultation regarding what to do about his right arm. This led to the decision to move ahead with a third surgery to stabilise his arm, injured at Jerez.
As for recovery times and a possible return to the racetracks, both Antena3 and Marca agree that it is unlikely he will be ready for the Qatar season opener in late March. Marca even talks about May, which would mean the Spaniard missing the entire first part of the season.
