The circuit is becoming increasingly popular with riders for the pre-season training opportunities it affords
The MotoGP riders continue their training ahead of the new championship season, which is scheduled to get underway over the weekend of 28 march at the Losail International Circuit in Qatar.
Lapping on track, albeit with a road bike, remains one of the best ways to hone the reflexes needed for riding. Maverick Viñales and Johann Zarco are well aware of this, and were out on track at the Almeria circuit earlier this week, riding a Yamaha R1 and a Panigale V4 S respectively.
And Maverick and Johann were not alone, joined by Moto2 riders Yari Montella (Speed Up Racing) and Hector Garzo (Pons HP40). Maverick’s cousin Isaac Viñales was also present, as he prepares to compete in WorldSBK with Orelac Kawasaki.
