MotoGP, Petrucci: “Le Mans a good opportunity to make progress”

The Le Mans circuit holds some of the sweetest and wildest memories for Danilo Petrucci after he scored his second GP win there last year.

He generally gets on well at the French track, having reached the podium at each of the last three editions. But while on those occasions he was riding the Ducati Desmosedici, he’s now aboard the KTM.

A special event

“I’m very happy to head back to Le Mans, I have some great memories”, said the Italian. “And this year, it’s my team’s home round and so we need to give it all we’ve got to fight for the top positions". Added to this is the fact that the team will be returning to the tracks following an important test day at Jerez.

Petrucci closed by commenting: "I think Le Mans is a good opportunity to make progress and battle closer to the front. I can’t wait to be back on my bike at one of my favourite tracks!”
