MotoGP Austria, Rossi sets the goal: “I want to fight for the top ten”

On Sunday 15 August the Austrian GP will play out at the Red Bull Ring, the second event to take place at this same track after last weekend’s first race back following the summer break. From seventeenth on the grid, Valentino Rossi crossed the line thirteenth and now more.

“It's good to be at home for three days to train and prepare for the next round in Austria – comments the Doctor before flying to the next race, “It wasn’t a bad first race at Spielberg; I was able to fight with those around me and we managed to score points”.

Ready for round eleven

And now it’s almost time to go again: “We now need to look at how we can improve, primarily with the settings of the bike, try some small things with it and work to be stronger this weekend. The target will be to work well in the sessions and try to get a better position on the grid”.

Starting as far as forward as possible would already be a big help in a race that is long and challenging. Yamaha struggles at the Austrian track, but Rossi will give it his all: "Then on Sunday we will try to improve the start, have a good pace again and take some points. I would also like to be able to fight for the top-ten”.
