MotoGP: track training for Iannone with the Aprilia RSV4

Andrea Iannone wants to keep in shape and, despite a doping ban that will keep him from MotoGP for a while to come, he’s keen to continue training on track. Yesterday saw the Italian complete a training session at Misano.

A rider will seize any opportunity to put on their leathers and helmet, particularly when their colleagues are busy battling it out in MotoGP. Far from the racetrack for too long now, and despite a busy social life and numerous showbiz events, Andrea Iannone never forgets his first love - bikes.

And so it was that yesterday the Italian was out with an Aprilia RSV4 at Misano, the very track that will host the MotoGP talents on 17-19 September.

Iannone seemed relaxed in the garage together with friends and when the time came to lower his visor, the rider climbed aboard a fully personalised Aprilia complete with his colours and number #29. He didn’t complete a time attack but rather a long series of laps in order to shake off the cobwebs and find that familiar passion again. We hope to see him back on track with his former colleagues at some point.
