There's another change in the Italtrans camp. For the Emilia Romagna GP, Mattia Casadei will flank Joe Roberts, standing in for Tetsuta Nagashima, who is absent due to other unspecified commitments.

As confirmed by the team itself, the Japanese rider - in turn called upon to replace injured rider Dalla Porta - will be back on board for the last two rounds of the season.

Casadei: “A dream come true”

“A wildcard in Moto2 with Team Italtrans at the Misano GP - I couldn’t be happier, it’s a dream come true” explains the Italian on social media. “I want to thank the team for this opportunity and I can’t wait for next weekend”.

Casadei, born in 1999, has been competing in the MotoE World Cup with Sic58 Squadra Corse, finishing sixth overall with three podiums and a total of 79 points.
