From Fabio Quartararo to Joan Mir and Michele Pirro, many riders have sent messages of goodwill to the Spaniard, who’s suffering vision problems after a crash during training
Diplopia will force Marc Marquez to miss the Valencia race and the Jerez winter tests, an enforced break that raises more questions about the Spaniard’s career, the rider still getting over the 2020 incident at Jerez.
“These are very hard moments. It seems that when it rains, it pours” wrote Marc in reference to his current problems. But he can count on the affection of his fans, and many of his colleagues who have been quick to send their best wishes.
Starting with world champion Fabio Quartararo, who writes: “I want to wish this champion a very speedy recovery”, and is followed by other riders, like Michele Pirro. “Despite being a rival on track, when an athlete suffers due to injury it’s always upsetting”, says the Ducati test rider. “Get well soon, motorcycling needs you. Forza champion”.
“Come back stronger than ever” comments Ana Carrasco, with more messages coming from Fabio Di Giannantonio, Sergio Garcia and Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz.
Last but not least, Joan Mir, one of Marc’s direct rivals on track: “I hope you recover soon so that you’re back on track with us for the Sepang test”.
A sentiment shared by all of his fans.
