The Italian has founded VR46 Metaverse, a company that will develop products relating to the Doctor’s brand within this new web-based frontier
Valentino Rossi prepares to land in the Metaverse. An agreement between VR46 and The Hundred company has resulted in the birth of VR46 Metaverse, a joint venture launched with one clear objective, or rather to create a virtual platform where fans can meet with the nine-time world champion, or rather his avatar.
"Entering this sector is a really exciting adventure that I’ve chosen to take on in a structured way, together with high-level partners”, comments the nine-time world champion. “I love the idea of being able to reach fans all around the world, offering them the VR46 atmosphere and excitement using new technologies, and I think that this project represents a very important step for the brand.”
VR46 Metaverse will try to recreate, within the virtual world, a global platform dedicated to the Doctor, the VR46 Racing Team and the Academy, on which the #46 fans can meet. Initial content will be published later this year.
Valentino is just the latest in a series of stars to delve into the Metaverse, following in the footsteps of PSG player Marco Verratti, Paris Hilton and Snoop Dogg. A decision that demonstrates the Doctor’s desire to keep up with the times, considering that, according to some estimates, 25% of the world’s population will be spending at least one hour a day in the metaverse by 2025, as they explore new interests.
