Almost a week after his crash during practice at the 8 Hours, the British rider’s family offers some comforting news
We can finally breathe a sigh of relief, as we continue to think about Gino Rea. The team FCC TSR Honda France rider was unfortunately involved in a bad accident during final practice at the Suzuka 8 Hours and was airlifted to hospital in a critical condition.
Thankfully, after showing some initial signs of recovery, it appears that the British rider’s condition continues to improve, according to the latest update provided by Gino’s family.
“The results of the CT-Scan showed signs of recovery with reduce swelling” the brief note on Rea’s social media pages reads. “He is in a stable condition and recovering from the usual side effects from such a trauma. We are looking forward to a Speedy G recovery from him as we all know he is capable of it. Thanks for the support.”
