EWC, Gino Rea continues to surprise: an update on his condition

Gino Rea continues to make staggeringly good progress following his terrible accident during practice at the Suzuka 8 Hours in early August. The British rider, who is still in Japan where he has been undergoing treatment for almost a month now, is finally up on his feet, as reported by his family on social media.

He's now up on his feet taking strides in confidence and engages well with everyone. Thanks for the support.”

In the meantime, riders in the EWC championship, including Gino’s team-mates Josh Hook and Mike Di Meglio, are preparing for the final round of the season, the Bol d'Or, which will take place at the Le Castellet track over the weekend of 17-18 September.
