The Andalusian circuit is ready to stage the first WorldSBK tests ahead of the 2022 season, which will kick off at Aragón on 8-10 April

With the winter break now behind them, the Superbike teams are set to return to the track as they prepare for the 2022 season, which will get underway at the MotorLand Aragón track in April.

The action resumes at Jerez tomorrow and Thursday, where KRT, Puccetti Racing, MV Agusta (with Kenan Sofuoglu in place of nephew Bahattin, Motozoo by Puccetti and team HRC with Lecuona and Vierge will all be out on track.

On 8-9 February, the Portimão circuit will host the factory Ducati team with Bautista and Rinaldi. They will be joined by KRT with Rea and Lowes, Yamaha with current champion Razgatlioglu and Locatelli and team Barni Spark with Luca Bernardi.

Things get busy in March, with action at Aragón, Misano and Barcelona. On 3-4 March, private Yamaha tests will take place at Aragón, with Razgatlioglu, Locatelli, Gerloff and Nozane all in action. BMW will be out at Misano on 15-17 with Van Der Mark and Redding and they will be joined by Ducati Aruba, Barni Ducati and GRT Yamaha on 16-17. While test sessions at Catalunya on 25-26 will see KRT riders Rea and Lowes riding along with Bautista, Rinaldi, Razgatlioglu, Locatelli, Gerloff, Nozane, Van Der Mark, Redding, Laverty and Baz.

The final tests will run at MotorLand Aragon on 4-5 April, serving as official pre-race sessions ahead of the world championship season opener set to play out over the weekend of 8-10 April.
