Sachsenring – Il tedesco Arne Tode (Honda) e l’ungherese Gabor Rizmayer (Suzuki), si sono aggiudicati le due manche della quarta prova del Campionato Tedesco Superbike. Nella prima manche Tode ha preceduto sotto la bandiera a scacchi Jörg Teuchert (Yamaha) e Günther Knobloch (Ducati). Nelal seconda manche, invece, Rizmayer ha preceduto Chris Burns (Honda), al primo podio nell’IDM, e Roman Stamm (Suzuki).
Il Sachsenring non è stato troppo fortunato per BMW e KTM. La Casa tedesca ha ottenuto come miglior risultato un ottavo posto con Werner Daemen nella prima manche la Casa austriaca ha chiuso sesta con Stefan Nebel nella seconda frazione.
